These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the website.
3. Nature of Information — No Legal Advice
The content published on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and must not be relied upon as such.
Reading or accessing any content on this website does not create an attorney-client relationship, a patent attorney-client relationship, or any other professional engagement between you and SM Consulting Ltd or Sophio Mujiri. Only a formal written engagement letter, duly signed by both parties, establishes such a relationship.
Intellectual property law is complex and jurisdiction-specific. Any action you take based on the general information available on this website is taken entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend obtaining tailored professional advice before making any legal or business decisions.
4. Consultation Bookings
This website offers the ability to book a 15-minute discovery call via Cal.com. The following applies to all consultations booked through this website:
- A discovery call is an introductory conversation to understand your situation and assess how we may be able to assist you.
- It does not constitute the provision of legal advice or the commencement of a professional engagement.
- No attorney-client or attorney–patent attorney relationship is formed as a result of a discovery call alone.
- Any ongoing advisory or legal services require a separate, written engagement agreement signed by both parties.
- SM Consulting Ltd reserves the right to decline to act for any person or entity at its absolute discretion, including following a discovery call.
- SM Consulting Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information discussed during a discovery call.
All consultations are conducted in confidence. However, confidentiality obligations under applicable professional conduct rules apply only once a formal engagement has been established.
